A chat with Chris Onstad
Those of of you may know that I spent three hours waiting in line this past Saturday night waiting to get the creator of Achewood (Chris Onstad) to sign three books. The waiting in line sucked, but the 5 minutes with Chris was pure awesome.
Chris: Hi I'm Chris.
Brittany: I'm Brittany, nice to meet you
C: So you want two Todds and a Phillipe?
B: Yeah that will be good, except I want Todd doing cocaine in mine. Todd is my favorite.
C: I'm not just saying this, but I always like when girls really like Todd. He is such a fucking piece of shit. Really he's the kind of person that you can do the worst kinds of things with.
B: So I haven't had supper yet. What do you think I should eat?
C: You know I'm not from here right?
B: Yeah I know, but you know all the food in America is the same.
C: So a pure recommendation then?
B: Yeah.
C: Okay...I'm going to go with a grilled chicken breast and a 40oz.
B: I totally have 6 40oz's in my room right now.
C: Well five dollars and you are there.
B: Thanks!!!
Chris totally told me to drink 40's. Like I needed another excuse. Yes.
